Permits - outside Western Australia

The Department of Indigenous Affairs does not issue permits for areas outside of Western Australia.

Below are links to other organisations who administer the lands adjoining WA reserves. (Information correct as of March 2003). Because these websites are not administered by DIA, DIA provides no guarantee as to their content or availability.

Northern Territory

Central Australia (Southern NT)

If travelling through the WA Central Reserves to or from the NT, permits are also required for sections of the NT travel. Information and application forms can be obtained from the Central Land Council website.(www.clc.org.au/permits/)

Northern NT

South Australia

The approved route of travel is via Kulgera, Victory Downs, Mulga Park and Curtin Springs, where no permit is required. Access to the Giles Mulga Park Road is not permitted.
