Aboriginal Heritage Act
The State Government intends to make amendments to the Aboriginal Heritage Act 1972, the State’s principal legislation enabling the protection of Aboriginal cultural heritage.
The Aboriginal Heritage Act amendments are intended to improve protection, certainty and compliance.

However, the Minister appreciates the difficulty that some stakeholders have in getting submissions in on time and has allowed an extension for late submissions until 26th June 2012 at 5pm.
