The latest newsletter from the Kimberley Regional Operations Centre of the work being done to acheive targets associated with "closing the gap" in Indigenous communities in the Kimberley region.

"Closing the Gap" in the Kimberley newsletter

This quarterly newsletter aims to inform the Kimberley community and others, of the important work being done to achieve targets associated with “closing the gap” in Indigenous communities in the Kimberly region.

One of the key ways governments in Australia are working towards “closing the gap” in living standards and life expectancy between Indigenous and other Australians, is through Remote Service Delivery (RSD).  Out of 29 RSD sites across Australia, WA has four, all within the Kimberley region.

They include Fitzroy Crossing and surrounding communities, Halls Creek and surrounding communities and the Dampier Peninsula, with a focus on Beagle Bay and Ardyaloon.
